Our Actor Video Resume Service is extremely new and innovative. To our knowledge, no one else is providing this service.
Anyone can sign-up for our service. However, If you are under 18 years old you must provide your parent or guardian's email address when filling out the form to be approved. We'll have to confirm your sign-up through them first before adding your Acting Video Resume Page to our database. You can also have your parent or guardian confirm your sign-up by simply contacting us via email at info@tri7entertainment.com or by calling us at (818) 632-7210 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
We accept your video in the NTSC VHS, SVHS, Mini-DV, Windows Media, AVI, and QuickTime File formats. Sorry, we do not accept video in the European PAL formats at this time.
We stream all footage in the latest version of Microsoft's Windows Media Player, the standard and most widely used Media Player on personal computers today.
After you paid the yearly fee you should have completed a thorough form explaining the specifics of what you'll be sending such as type of footage, clip description and information about you for your viewers. You'll also have instructions on how to send us your photos/headshots and standard résumé's. So after you've signed up and submitted your form, we basically wait for you to send us your acting footage to upload on our server. Once we receive your footage, we'll email you to finalize preparations. You'll then be able to tell us of any extras you'd like on your site such as your headshot, favorite quote, favorite actor, etc. You'll also confirm your website color preferences and confirm your contact information.

You have a choice when filling out the form whether to have us return your materials after we encode your work or an option for us to hold on to your footage material just in case you want to make changes later.
Once we receive your footage materials, we capture, edit and encode your best acting footage into our computer system. Your unique Video Resume Web Page is designed and your footage material is uploaded on our server ready to be viewed by anyone in the world. See Sample Video Resume Here
Yes, we do! Unless you have a professional video demo already edited, we provide this service for you. We use top-notch editing software where all of your individual clips will have "clean" cuts and fades.
We accept just about any footage of your acting work such as Elementary School Plays, Middle School Plays, High-School Plays, College Plays, Talent Shows, Scenes from an Acting Class, Scenes or Monologue footage you made At Home, Independent Films, Feature Films, Any Television Show, Commercials, Screen Tests, Demo Reels, and anything else you may have done!
We do not allow any sexually related scenes or any type of pornographic imagery in scenes. We take serious pride in maintaining our moral integrity.
Don't worry, we're willing to work with you as far as the profanity goes. We understand that profanity is common in certain dramatic scenes. However, if you do send us a scene with profanity, we'll simply "silence out" (not beep out) any words that we find highly offensive.
Depending on your footage, each individual clip will be anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes maximum. Anything over the 2 minute time frame will be considered extremely long for the Internet not to mention busy Casting Directors, Agents and Managers have a short attention span. An ideal clip should be no longer than 1:30 seconds.
Currently our site is gaining rapid popularity each day and we receive over 10,000 page views and over 5,000 new visitors a month. As we grow our database, we expect Talent Agents, Managers, Casting Directors, Producers, and Directors from all around the world seeking new talent to visit our site often. Our main goal is to promote and expose you and your acting talent/gift to any industry person anywhere in the world. We also expect your friends, relatives, classmates and anyone else you tell to view your Video Resume Page.
We believe that if you truly have talent, your gift will eventually make room for you. However, if people don't know or see that you have talent, how will you ever be discovered or become famous? This is the primary reason for our service. To give you the opportunity to shine! You never know who may see your acting work through our online website!
You actually need both. In this new Internet age, casting directors and talent agents are seeking new talent via the Internet. There are many casting agencies casting solely online now. Talent Agents are even emailing their clients audition times, directions, etc. The competition is fierce in the acting business and we believe in order for you to have the edge, you need something tangible and quick for industry people to view your work online. With an Actor Video Resume, Casting Directors or an industry person can have a choice of whatever individual clip of your work they want to see. A regular type-written resume is great for casting directors to see after you get the audition. Your Actor Video Resume will open up the doors to get you the audition because people will see what you're capable of...they will visually see your work.
Since we are acting as the "go-between" for you, industry persons will see your domain address as something like www.tri7entertainment.com/actor/yourname.htm You are also welcome to add your own personal website address to your Video Resume Page or even place a link on your own website to your Video Resume Page.
After we receive your video footage, it usually takes less than 5 business to have your Video Resume Page with streaming clips up on our server. We'll notify you via email of your new domain address and when your Video Resume site is up on our server.
You can have as many clips as you like on your Video Resume Page. However you are only allowed two clips per acting project. In other words, individual clips cannot exceed more than two clips per acting project so send us your best work! We will confirm the scenes that you want uploaded on your Video Resume Page via email based on the footage you send us.
You can add, change or delete any of your clips by notifying us via email. You will see your desired change/request on your Video Resume Website within 3 business day. To add more footage to your Video resume, email us at myvideos@tri7entertainment.com to let us know and send it off to us. You may also call to speak to a personal representative for help at (818) 632-7210 Mon-Fri, 9a.m.- 5p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
The prices for the Basic and Professional are the same at only $19.95 yearly. We only make a distinction of the packages based on the footage you provide us.
Since your payment is "subscription-based", you'll be charged only $19.95 a year.
You can cancel your yearly subscription at any time by emailing us at info@tri7entertainment.com or click below. However, there are no refunds for your first initial payment of $19.95 for the first year.=
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover/Novus, Diners Club and JCB and derivatives of those brands through PayPal, the most secure and widely used online payment processing service. We also accept electronic checks (personal or business bank account required) and mail orders paid with regular check or money order. Mail order purchases can be sent to the address below mentioned in this FAQ/Policy page.
